Domingo - Sunday
This morning we started our day with scripture selected by many of you. We were able to help Carlos along in his new Bible which has the spanish translation. We are certainly learning to enjoy the small things here in Colombia. Today we went to a zoo which also had some amusement rides. The zoo continued to excite all the boys. Certainly Austin, Carter & Jared are seeing this excitment through their brother´s eyes. We heard many English words like ¨yes¨and ¨wow¨ I even heard an äwesome¨. But my favorite moment was the bumber car rides. I enjoyed the activity from a chair with a camera. When the ride was complete Carlos ran over to me and with very clear English he said ¨thank you¨and gave me a kiss. These are the moments that touch our hearts - just learning to be excited about the little things again. Debbie

ReplyDeleteI have finally been able to catch up on all your news and I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. My heart for you right now is so big as I remember all the amazing things God showed me as He brought each of my kids "home" to us. Here's another of my favorite verses for you today: "Father, I praise you that you have hidden these things from the wise and revealed them to little children." I love seeing the world through my children's eyes!
