Day after Vaccinations

It is Wednesday and we were planning to go to the Gold Museum today, but it looks as though the germs we put into Carlos yesterday (Hep B & DTP) are being a bit aggressive on him. So we had a change of plans and are spending yet another day in our "nursery". Carlos has slept all morning which means we did homework and laundry. Nothing new yet as far as the 3 signatures needed to complete this process. Last night we ended up with a "pow wow"...It appears 100% of togetherness is starting to wear on all of us. The frustration is when all the babies are put down to bed for the night at 9:00, but we are not ready. Here is the deal, the Wenke's have a hard time being quiet. I know many of you cannot believe this, but it is true. Here is the list of things we miss the most:
Cold milk
hot shower - the entire time
soft beds
fluffy pillow
privacy
being loud
stromboli
oh yea...friends and family
Thank you for all your prayers and support. We absolutely love to receive comments on the blog and emails. We watch airplanes and dream of the day we are to return home. Until then our best wishes to all of you.

  2. Hey Wenke’s!
Greeting from the Douglass family in Cleveland, Ohio! It has been to so wonderful and interesting to read your updates-your joys and your struggles. What incredible memories you will all have for a lifetime. We are praying for you and your sanity as you wait out these (hopefully) final weeks! OK, so I am going to dig into the deep reservoirs of my brain and give this a shot…

  5. Poor Calos I bet the shots hurt.I hate shots and they hurt, to me anyway! We miss you all sooooo much and can't wait for you to get back. We still have to wait till around the 10th though, until you come back and I'll get to see at least see Jared and Carlos at school. If they ride the bus on the fist day back I'll see Carter and Austin but not Mrs. or Mr.Wenke. We miss you all and hope you come back as soon as you can.(Which hopefully is very soon!)
    Love,
    Emily
